Very enjoyeable read on science and faith

The new series of biographies from Thomas Nelson Publishers called Christian Encounters, describes some really interesting lives. Most of the daces in the series are pretty famous, such as Jane Austen, Winston Churchill or St. Patrick. However, I have chosen to start with the story of Isaac Newton, a man we probably all learnt about in the school, but usually without his Christian story (at least here in the Czech Republic). I remember my surprise years ago when I have been Christian myself, how much it surprised me that this man shared same experience like me.

Not only this. Theology and biblical studies were actually the biggest area of concern for him, more than chemistry, mathematics and physics. The Mitch Stokes biography is readable almost like a novel; you do not want to put it away. The fascinating story written in the fascinating way. In the book you will read about all the major events of Newton's life, known and unknown. From his troubled and difficult childhood to thinking in solitude and making public only a fragments of what he wrote, it is story of a great man. Newton was somewhat unorthodox believer not shy to question everything for his love for the Scriptures.  He became a brilliant scientist, mathematician, inventor, and philosopher. One of the most important scientists of all time, author of the scientific laws of motion, and the Law of Gravity. This book was enjoyment to read. Thanks!
